On Monday I couldn't sleep - a neighbour gave a very noisy party- so I looked for decorated water towers on the net and made me a list. I found more than one hundred in France.
There's also one in Detroit.
Then Lyliane told me there's one quite near the place where she lives. It was on my list.
The sower and the hare of Caillouet Orgeville were waiting for me. Calling for me. I could hear them over the noise that lingered after the party.
So off we went, DD and I, having given Lyliane a call in order to invite ourselves. (Yesterday wasn't a working day!)
An hour and a half later we saw the water tower from the road. I took a picture. But we didn't turn around.
Instead we spent a very nice day with Lyliane and Michel, having a good meal together, looking at their wonderful house, and making a tour in the neighbourhood. We saw a lot of deers, some pheasants and other animals as well. And, of course, the famous water tower.
Thank you very much, Lyliane and Michel! And thank you dear sower on the water tower for having made us meet again.
