O for Oh no
It wasn't yet an Obsession, but I had decided to take part in the ABC Wednesday and the next letter, the first one for me, was O.
I went through my Old pictures, looking for something beginning with O. Oh no! I found neither pictures of the Obelisk brought to Paris by Champollion, nor any Other Object. Was it a bad Omen? Obviously!
I had already eaten all my Onions, and the Olives, too, and there are no Orange trees in the neighbourhood.
I had to find an Outsider. Being a bit Overweight I thought about taking a picture of myself, but that wouldn't do.
Had I Overestimated my abilities? Must I put the head in the Oven (I use gas in the kitchen).
No, I must find something quite Ordinary, or there will be Objections by the Blog Observers.
My Obstinacy was Obstructing me from seing the thruth. I was Out!
Have I Omitted something? Oh yes! The picture is from the Old Orcher Castle in the Outskirts of Le Havre.

... and now a comment from OOOOlson: Yes, very nice text! You must have been desperate, but you found a solution! Good luck with the q,z,y... ! I suppose that the ä,ö etc. are not included. There you would have an unfair advantage on participants of other nationalities!
After OOOOOlivier came PPPPPeter. isn't that just as it should be. Who will be the next commentator? QQQQQQQ?
I can´t resist commenting although my initial does not come next..opqrstu..etc
You really made my day by means of this posting. :)
Thank you Liisa for two things, for your kind comment, and for breaking the chain opqr... as nobody wanted to comment after O and P.
Et tu as tagué Marguerite à l'époque.
Welcome to ABC Wed, may I know what language is this? I'm from Singapore. Good pictures you have there. I'll link to u on my blogroll and visit u again!
Great first posting for abc wednesday!I am glad you didnt Opt for putting your head in the Oven.
That would have Obviously been an Obnoxious thing to do.
Thank you, deb and jean m fogle. It was a real pleasure (keep P as pleasure for next week) to participate - at least this time.
LOL what a clever post. Welcome to ABC Wednesday :o)
Thank you Ruth. I'll try to do something different next week.
O so that's great - and I've just shifted my link to you from Oddblogs to ABC!
Heyyyyy! I will add you to the blogroll.
D
Don't do it tOO fast. I might not be able to continue. The O was easy once I got it started but let's see what I'll do with P before crying victory. (Or the tears will come...)
Hmmm, wasn't the bicycle once named the "omniped" when first invented? I could be wrong about that. :)
Oh no!

Heya,
I love older looking buildings like this.
They have so much more character than todays modern buildings... so much more history and ... (stops.. due to the irony of his comment).
