Open windows
It was a pleasure to sleep with the windows wide open, knowing that all I could possibly hear would be something else than the alarm clock.
And I did hear both the garbagemen emptying the garbage bins very early in the morning, as well as someone letting a truck run for a long time before leaving to make his deliveries.
But the sounds didn't disturb me. They were just part of the night.
Even the cats didn't wake me up. They knew that I needed that sleep.
Today the weather is greyish, but the clouds are high up in the sky. And do I care? Even a rain would be welcomed by the plants in the garden.
And I can always close the windows and reach for a book.

Tu as des ancolies dans ton jardin ?? Quelle chance !!
youpie c'est vendredi
windows open, and the sounds of summer: I am looking forward for that!
Sounds just great. Do enjoy and take a drink, too!
I'm off to Turku for the weekend. See you!
Too bad for the truck etc... Where you live, you should just hear the birds and maybe some frogs! Where I live there are also some other noices, but they don't disturb me. I guess your ears learn to "filter"! When I write this - a bit late - I'm sure the sky is again blue over there, like here! Enjoy!!!
Ahhhhh! I'm kicking my feet up in support of your days off. That Susu, though. She's always going somewhere!
Ihanat akileijat!
Quelles jolies fleurs !
