Unnatural death

I just stumbled upon a dead body.

The head of the victim had been chopped nicely off. It lay near the victim's feet. I suppose it cannot be but murder, not suicide.

There was not much blood on the scene of the crime. The death must have been instantaneous.

Two green flies were already there, laying their eggs in the open wounds. The flies are usually among the first to find the victims.

All that horror reminds me of something that happened in May. Even though the first victim must have been much bigger, even though we never found the head, I wonder, do we have a serial killer in the neighbourhood?
