Père et fils

On dit que la nouvelle génération est plus grande que la précédente.
Bien entendu, il n'est question que de la taille.

The harvest

Like an old potato harvester that has seen many a potato coming up from the fields recently, the blogging world has been harvesting awards, and I have seen one of them being dropped off by Liisa.

(I hope that nobody minds if I compare potatoes and awards. Both are important, but you should not fry the awards. You may make decorations of potatoes though, especially for Halloween, in the case that you don't have pumpkins.)

So, Liisa kindly dropped off the Arte y Pico-award without breaking it into pieces (it looks fragile, and I must put it in a place where it will not fall down.)

The Arte y Pico award is given to bloggers who are artistic in some way.

This reminds me of two persons, an elderly man and his not much younger wife, who came to visit my home several years ago. They looked around, and obviously didn't find anything they liked. The woman then said, as she had been educated to be very polite, "It's an artistic interior you have here".

But I should talk about the award, not my house.

It's hard to give it away, but the rules say that I must give it to five bloggers that I find artistic in some way (please forget everything I said about artistic interiors).

Isopeikko writes wonderful stories, and the few drawings we can see are very good too. I'm a fan. A true fan.

Namaki is someone I found very recently, and her photos are a delight.

Kutuharju, away on a vacation, writes so funny stories. May she shorten her vacation!

Maxime is a photographer who hides his landscapes in mist or other wet things, and still keeps them beautiful.

Alice doesn't take only photos, she also writes. Both well.

Please remember not to eat the award, only the potatoes. Fried, or prepared in any other way you may wish.
